As a practice project for school, in the Sound Equipment module, we were commissioned to do a karaoke for the day of Andalusia. In previous courses, other students had used a simple karaoke application that only played the melody, but it seemed very bland to me and it occurred to me to use Ultrastar Deluxe instead, which is a PC application similar to Playstation’s Singstar, with songs current and known. Add competition for points, a prize for the winner (school supplies), a projector and a screen where contestants could look at the lyrics without having to turn their backs on the public, and a few other things.
