On November 18, 2023, a new edition of Miss Universe was held in the Central American country of El Salvador. You have probably heard about the miraculous transformation that its president Nayib Bukele has carried out in this country, reducing crime to the maximum, imprisoning gang members, and rebuilding the country. A country with a lot of culture, good gastronomy and many, many volcanoes.
Delegates from 84 different countries participated in the contest. This is the first edition, since I started watching it in 2018, in which I agree with the top 3 positions and order.
It featured the live performance by John Legend, accompanying the catwalk in evening gown and the Final Look.

The next edition in 2024 will be in Mexico. Hope one day it will be held in Seville, and then we would see them rowing down the Guadalquivir River.
