The Marchena Carnival parade, which had been postponed until February 8 due to heavy rain and strong winds, was held to a very warm reception on Sunday morning. Starting at 12 noon from San Pedro street and ending at Sala Carrera, we enjoyed the carnival festivities hosted by Andrea Show and her dancers. During the celebration, the costume contest prizes were awarded, and Lola Pop put the finishing touch on the event with a concert.
- Fátima Sánchez (Fay), from Peluquería Fay hair salon, presented the award for Best Makeup to the group dressed as Native Americans.
- Antonio Ocaña, from Mask2 Producciones and stand-up comedian, presented the award for Best Individual Costume to Homer Simpson.
- Juan Carlos Balboa, from JK Fitness gym (and the batucada group), presented the award for Best Group Costume to the jellyfish and divers.
