This year Miss Universe Spain

The current Miss Universe Spain is Andrea Valero, from Galicia. The contest was set in Saint Augustine square in Los Realejos, Tenerife (Spain) the 30th of July, 2025.

Previous Miss Universe Spain

Miss Universe Spain 2024 was Michelle Jiménez, from Balearic Islands.

Miss Universe Spain 2023 was Athenea Pérez Nsué, the first black Miss Spain, daughter of an immigrant single mother.

Miss Universe Spain 2022: Alicia Faubel, from the Valencian Community, is the Spanish representative who participated in the Miss Universe edition that was held on January 14, 2023 in New Orleans, United States.

Miss Universe Spain 2021: Sarah Loinaz was the chosen one. Daughter of a Moroccan mother and a Basque father.

Miss Universe Spain 2020: Andrea Martinez, from León. She participated in the contest held in Hollywood Florida (the other Hollywood), United States.

30th Anniversary of the Twinning between Marchena and the French city of Châteaudun

The streets and the entrance to the Coullaut Valera Museum are adorned with French and Spanish flags to welcome the mayor and other members of the municipal council of the French city of Châteaudun, who are visiting these days to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their twinning with Marchena.

Orange trees already starting to blossom

If something characterizes the Andalusian Holy Week, it is the fragrance of orange blossom in its streets, full of orange trees -which give sour orange. The beginning of Lent, Ash Wednesday, is almost synchronized with the appearance of the first orange blossoms. Azahar is a word of Arabic origin, az-zahr, which means “white flower“.
