The streets grow dim with the presence of the Cristo de San Pedro<\/em> (Christ of Saint Peter)<\/strong>, while his mother, Mar\u00eda Sant\u00edsima de las Angustias<\/em> (Most Holy Mary of Anguish)<\/strong>, follows behind, comforted by Saint John the Evangelis<\/strong>t<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This brotherhood was founded in the 16th century<\/strong> and is based in the Church of Santo Domingo<\/strong><\/em>, formerly part of the Dominican monastery of San Pedro M\u00e1rtir<\/em> (Saint Peter Martyr).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
